Intertronics has launched the IUV101 LED UV curing spot lamp in an effort to tackle UV curing options available for the medical, industrial, electronics, automotive and optical industries.
The 370nm handheld spot lamp features up to 2,000 mW/cm2 intensity in a portable package, enabling industry to cure UV adhesives that respond to long wave UV-A wavelengths between 360nm and 380nm.
UV curing spot lamps have the ability to cure adhesives in less than ten seconds, and in many cases, even faster, improving productivity and reducing production costs.
The IUV101 uses LED technology which is much more energy efficient way than conventional broad-spectrum UV curing lamps thanks to the fact it can focus UV light precisely on the spot where the adhesive needs to be cured.
Suitable for industrial environments, research and development laboratories, the IUV101 requires no warm-up period, and with an LED service life of up to 15,000 hours, is perfect for a wide variety of curing applications.
