With CES merely weeks away, manufacturers are hinting at a ton of awesome new products, leaving what seems like very little to be unveiled at the actual event itself.
Regardless, CES is always a spectacle and brings out the best in cutting edge electronics.
Samsung has been teasing its new CH711 monitor recently, which is a sleek, curved monitor that utilizes quantum dot technology specifically designed for gaming.
The result is what Samsung says is a “vivid, visually stunning picture.”
At the moment, the CH711 comes in 27-inch and 31.5-inch variations, both providing 2560 x 1440 WQHD resolution, and an insane curvature of 1,800R.
While one would assume a curved monitor would lend to a few viewing drawbacks, Samsung promises a 178-degree viewing angle and says the monitor gives a “richer and more vibrant color from any viewing distance.”
Samsung’s new curved monitor is expected to be released in early 2017.]
