The Omron Avail from Omron Healthcare is a new health tech device powered by the company’s mobile app, with remote operating available via Bluetooth.
Thanks to wireless and dual-channel capability, the over-the-counter device aims to provide drug-free pain relief for people suffering from chronic and acute pain.
Simply apply the Omron Avail pads to the painful areas and the devices five pre-programmed body pain modes take over, capable of helping alleviate lower back, shoulder, knee, elbow, and leg pain via recommended therapies.
In addition, a myriad of pulsation modes and intensity levels enable users to design their own custom therapy for optimal results.
“Pain sufferers are already inconvenienced by their condition. Omron created Avail with wireless capability to restore their freedom of movement while they get pain relief,” says Carol Lucarelli, director of marketing and product development for Omron Healthcare Inc, in a media release. “And with two separately programmable TENS devices, the Omron Avail allows for customizable, multi-site treatment for individual aches and pains.”
