The 3D printing industry continues to be on the up and up, especially as it pertains to the healthcare industry.

London-based biotech company, Evo Dental, is at the forefront of developing full jaw dental implant solutions and recently secured a £4 million investment from the British Growth Fund (BGF).

The investment will provide Evo Dental with new clinics across the UK in order to further develop and test its proprietary full jaw dental implant solution, which includes digital scanning, prosthesis additive manufacturing, and high-precision milling machines to patients in need of jaw reconstruction.

“Evo is taking what’s possible in dentistry today far beyond the limits of what has previously been available,” said Dr. Vijayanarayanan, Founder and CEO of Evo Dental.

“We’ve combined state-of-the-art engineering, innovation and first-class patient care to deliver a solution for the chronic types of tooth problems that inflict millions of people across the UK.”

Evo estimates more than 5 million people in the UK could benefit clinically from dental implant treatments thanks to 3D printing as a result of NHS’ Adult Dental Health survey
