Despatch Industries Sees Strong Increase in Orders for Popular PTC Oven
for Petroleum Industry
Minneapolis, Minn., U.S.A. May 30, 2012 – Despatch Industries, the world’s leading thermal processing equipment provider for over one hundred years, has seen a recent increase in orders for the company’s PTC ovens. Despatch’s PTC ovens are most often used in the petroleum industry to perform burn-in and qualification testing of down-hole electronic logging equipment. The increase in PTC orders is attributed to an increase in petroleum exploration in the United States and around the world, and the need for precise calibration and testing equipment as drilling exploration areas are expanded.
Standard model top-loading PTC ovens are available in eight foot or ten foot chamber lengths and have temperature capability up to 260°C (500°F). In addition to top-loading models, Despatch also offers custom higher temperature capabilities and front-loading and non-magnetic configurations. PTC ovens feature horizontal airflow with adjustable louvers to assure uniform airflow even with varying load conditions. These ovens come with standard removable end caps to allow units to be connected end-to-end to accommodate larger and longer parts.
Despatch has specialized in thermal processing for over 100 years and is actively using this technical expertise to provide innovative solutions to critical applications in a broad range of markets and cutting edge technology worldwide.
