Our industrial ovens and furnaces are used by some of the world’s most sophisticated industries including: photovoltaic/solar, carbon fiber materials, medical devices, electronic components, energy, and materials. Unlike our competitors, our success is based on innovation, not repetition. We work with customers more closely – before and after the sale – to ensure the products and services we deliver provide thermal solutions that will help drive their businesses into the future.
The philosophy we stand by is to provide process advancements for superior optimization, tighter temperature tolerances, higher yields and consistent, repeatable results. We also go to great lengths to move our products to market faster, providing short lead times and quick delivery.
A Despatch custom product is a low-risk choice for your complex challenges. Despatch has over 100 years of proven success in partnering with customers to deliver complex thermal processing and environmental simulation solutions. We are committed to working with our customers to learn the details of their unique process in order to design and engineer a custom piece of equipment that will meet their specific requirements. When it comes to evolving an existing application or implementing a first-of-its-kind process, more global businesses choose Despatch. Our innovative designs are backed by seasoned engineering, manufacturing and project management teams with decades of experience completing projects on time, on budget and always to the satisfaction of our customers.
Despatch manufactures a wide range of industrial ovens designed to accommodate a variety of load sizes and production volume in batches. Our batch oven line includes forced convection ovens, pass-through ovens, inert atmosphere ovens, HEPA filtered/ISO Class 5 clean room ovens, and Class A ovens. Applications include die bond curing for wafer level packaging of semiconductors, polyimide curing, annealing (magnetic annealing), accelerated life cycle testing, drying, sterilizing, aging, reliability testing, wafer-level burn-in and other process critical procedures.
Because of their small footprint and unique, stackable design, a laboratory oven/bench-top oven/bench-top temperature chambers are perfect in areas where space is at a premium such as laboratories and clean rooms.
Our reach-in ovens are ergonomically designed for easy loading and unloading. Cabinets are floor-mounted, have efficient footprints and range in size from .11 to 2.7 cubic meters.
Our stackable burn-in chambers offer maximum flexibility for small lot qualification testing, reliability testing and R&D. They are available in air and nitrogen atmosphere configurations.
Ranging in sizes up to 70.79 cubic meters our walk-in ovens and truck-in ovens can accommodate a wide variety of process and product needs. They are suitable for loading manually or by forklift.
For high-volume, repeatable applications, Despatch continuous ovens offer conveyor widths from 46 to 91 centimeters with electric or gas heat.
These ovens are ideal for applications such as drying/curing electronic components and circuit boards, curing PTFE parts and adhesives, epoxy curing and general heat treatments of small parts and assemblies.
Our large continuous systems are custom-designed for a wide range of applications including preheating of components and materials, curing of epoxy and adhesives, bonding requiring heat activation and drying of solvents or moisture. These Class A ovens are designed for use with flammable solvents and volatiles. The typical industry that large continuous tools are used in is the contact lens, or optical industry. They can be custom-engineered for special sizes, temperatures, atmosphere conditions, particulate levels, controls and material handling requirements.
We offer several systems optimized for clean process applications featuring HEPA filtration, ISO Class 5 (Class 100) operation and ultraviolet decontamination. Our pharmaceutical depyrogenation tunnels are Class 100 systems designed for depyrogenation of pharmaceutical glassware.
Our expertise in custom products spans many markets and applications including: Continuous processing methodologies, Automation, Thermal processing technologies, Inert environment creation, measure and controls, Process reporting, Particulate measurement and controls, Magnetic technologies, Materials processing , Temperature uniformity and control, Infrared applications, Calibration tools, Electronic packaging, Semiconductors, and Down-hole drilling.
These high performance carbon fiber oxidation ovens offer industry leading production ratings and consistent high quality carbon fiber. The exothermic process is stabilized with air flow to prevent combustion. Uniform air velocity and side to side balance in temperature allow the process to run closer to the burn-up temperature which allows increased line feeds and higher yields. This super-strong, lightweight material which was prepreg and then was oxidized in our oxidation ovens is being used in wind energy, fuel efficient vehicles and aerospace. We provide process integration for large scale production lines required to meet the demands of this rapidly expanding market.
Despatch offers a variety of solution heat treat furnaces, infrared furnaces and infrared ovens for firing, drying, curing and diffusion.
Despatch is a proven supplier of Drop Bottom Solution Heat Treat Furnaces with over 150 similar units sold. By providing proven product designs that incorporate state-of-the-art features, full turnkey installation and start-up, Despatch has become a low risk supplier to the industry for this type of equipment.
