Despatch Industries to Introduce New Safire Firing Furnace at Upcoming
EU Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition
Minneapolis, Minn., U.S.A. September 5, 2012 – Despatch Industries, a leading technology and equipment provider for the solar industry, will be launching its new Safire firing furnace at the upcoming EU Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition taking place from September 24-28 in Frankfurt, Germany. Visitors are invited to visit the Despatch booth in Hall 3, Stand D2 to learn about the new Safire and accompanying DriTech dryer.
The Safire firing furnace, together with the DriTech dryer, were designed to provide solar manufacturers with the ability to properly segment, control and adjust key process parameters in order to achieve maximum product yield, quality and consistency. The Safire design features dual, independent chambers with no lane-to-lane influences. This unique design ensures the greatest degree of firing repeatability and capability for cell efficiency optimization in a high capacity platform.
Despatch Process and Applications Manager, Daniel Ruf, will be giving two poster presentations at the conference in support of Despatch’s new product and technology developments. The first poster is titled Maintenance Free Dryer for Solar Cell Metallization Lines by Employing Novel Air Flow Management and will be displayed on Monday, September 24 from 3:15 to 4:45pm. The second poster is titled Process Decoupling During Co-Firing of Silicon Solar Cells and will be presented on Wednesday, September 26 from 8:30am to 10:00am. All posters are presented in the Congress Center at the Messe Frankfurt Fairgrounds.
